Doug Brodman

Currently, Doug is the Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director for Plzeňský Prazdroj, one of the top five businesses in the SABMiller Global stable of operations, contributing over 10 Million Hectoliters of volume and over $500m in Revenue. Plzeňský Prazdroj is home to the major International brand for SABMiller, Pilsner Urquell. Doug joined SABMiller in 1999 as Vice President Sales – Eastern Region for Miller Brewing Company in the United States. In August, 2001, Doug was named Vice-President of National Accounts and Category Management. From 2006, Doug led the International expansion efforts of SABMiller Premium brands in 36 countries in Asia, South Americas, Caribbean, Canada and Mexico as Senior Vice President of International. Before joining SABMiller, Doug worked in the beer business for 18 years. In 1981, Doug joined Van Munching & Company, the US Sales & Marketing firm for Heineken beer, and advanced through a number of field sales and corporate marketing roles leading to his position as Vice-President of Sales in 1992. Doug holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Management from St. John’s University in Jamaica, New York, and a Master’s of Business Administration in Marketing from Hofstra University.
