Doug Brodman

Doug Brodman is a proven senior executive with deep experience and significant achievements leading international businesses and driving strategic change to kick-start growth in the beverage industry. He is a talented role model, leader, and mentor, with a reputation for enhancing team effectiveness, developing senior talent, and affecting organizational change.

Currently, Doug is a Senior Advisor working independently and with Mckinsey & Co., serves on several Boards in the technology space with start-up companies and is a member of the Board of the non-profit Melanoma Research Organization.

As an executive with Miller Brewing Company and SABMiller for 17 years, Doug managed commercial sales, strategy, and marketing efforts for multiple business units across the United States, Europe, and Latin America. He is known for growing businesses facing stalled growth or in mature markets, and for delivering company-leading profits, driving top-line growth, and implementing insight-based decision-making. Doug has had success managing and growing product portfolios, fostering innovation to develop and launch new products, and expanding the premium beer category.

In his most recent position as Vice President, Strategy for Latin America, Doug led strategy development for SABMiller’s largest and most profitable region, with annual revenues of $5.9B. Here he focused on portfolio development, redefining the commercial strategy, and developing insights and other tools to improve execution and management. Earlier, Doug served as Chief Executive, Managing Director, and Chairman of the Board of Plzensky Prazdroj, the largest brewer in the Czech Republic, with three breweries, a direct distribution system, and revenues of more than $750M.

Doug holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Management from St. John’s University in Jamaica, New York, and a Master’s of Business Administration in Marketing from Hofstra University.
