Jan Mühlfeit

Frequently referred to as the most senior Czech in the corporate world, Jan is Chairman Europe, Microsoft Corporation. He joined Microsoft in 1993, and during his 16 year tenure with Microsoft he has been the recipient of numerous awards and distinctions, including the President’s Award for Excellence. In recognition of his contributions to the IT industry and to philanthropy, he was elected Best Manager of the Czech Republic in 1999, and named Czech IT Personality of the Year three times. Jan’s service to the information technology industry and to civic society is far-reaching. He is Vice-Chairman of the European Academy of Business in Society, a Board Member of Junior Achievement Young Enterprise Europe and AIESEC, the world’s largest student-run organization addressing potential in young people. In addition, he is Co-Chairman of the European Industry Leadership Board and represents Microsoft on the Transatlantic Business Dialogue. Jan is a frequent speaker at a variety of global technology, leadership, philanthropic, and educational events. He is a graduate of the Czech Technical University.
