Jim Thompson

James E. Thompson, GBS, is the Founder & Chairman of The Crown Worldwide Group of companies. The designation, GBS refers to The Gold Bauhinia Star, which is awarded to citizens in Hong Kong who have given distinguished service to the community or who have rendered public or voluntary service of a very high degree of merit.

Jim is frequently referred to in the press for his business accomplishments such, as his founding and building of Crown Worldwide, the Gold Standard in mobility management and recipient of DHL/South China Morning Post International Award as Hong Kong’s best international company.(Crown Worldwide’s relocation, records management and logistics services operate in 250 locations in 52 countries throughout the world.)
